We Did It — Contract Ratified!

We are happy to announce that our CWA Local 1104 Graduate Student Employees Union contract and the State of New York has been overwhelmingly ratified! Congratulations to everyone involved. A special thanks goes to our Executive Vice President Andrew Dobbyn, PhD, our outstanding Bargaining Committee, our dedicated organizers, and our rank - and - file members. We appreciate all those who supported and stood by us during our pursuit of this contract. This agreement will significantly benefit over 2,000 Local 1104 members in higher education.


We couldn’t have achieved this without the strength and support of our members — every conversation, every vote, and every union due paid helps make our graduate workers community stronger and victories like this possible.
